Perspective

Without a good understanding of perspective, you’ll end up thinking you’re on a spinning space ball.

For anyone that thinks they SHOULD be able to see Mt. Everest from ANYWHERE on the flat map, you NEED to educate yourself on this matter.

Perspective and atmospherics are what will influence the image you see from point A to point B.

Objects will appear to become smaller and lower as they move away from our vision.  This is due to the law of perspective.  

 

Ask any art student.  They know how perspective works.  

When drawing a city, you would make the buildings further away smaller.

Objects will intersect at the vanishing point.
